GP Access Hubs
We provide GP Access services to all our GP practices in Havering and this service is commissioned by the Havering Clinical Commissioning Group. The ‘GP Access Hub’ operates from two sites (North Street and Rosewood) which are situated at opposite ends of the borough. The service is well regarded by local practices with patient’s satisfaction is consistently high at 97.5%. The service is unique as over 90% GPs working in our hubs come from Havering practices and are familiar with our patients, providing vital continuity of care.
Our two sites provide convenient patient access across havering and are open to our patients from 18:30-22:00hrs Monday to Friday and 08.00- 20:00hrs on Saturday and Sundays. Our patients are able to call directly to our local central call centre between 12:00 - 22:00hrs Monday to Friday and 9:00 -16:00 Saturday and Sunday to book an appointment.
The service is linked to the software used by NHS111 and built into the local Directory of Service enabling NHS111 to book patients directly into the service. Patients are booked into a 15 minute slot at one of their local Hubs and seen by a local GP (face to face) familiar with the area.
